By BBN Staff: Relatives of missing retired teacher, Elito Puc confirmed to BBN today that the remains found earlier today along the Belize- Guatemala border in Western Belize is that of Puc.

Authorities are currently processing the scene.

Puc had left his home around 7 pm on November 28, 2019, en route to Melchor, Guatemala.

Since then, the family had not seen or heard from him.

We will provide more details when it becomes available.
