Police: Burnt aircraft found in Sarteneja

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the origin of a burnt aircraft that was discovered around 5:00 a.m. yesterday in Sarteneja, Corozal.

Police say that they went to an area near the Sarteneja air strip located ¼ mile north east of Sarteneja and found a twin engine Cesna aircraft engulfed in flames.

No one was in the area at the time.

A further search of the area led to the discovery of several items.

Police are investigating.
