U.S. Military ranked as world’s most powerful by 2019 Military Strength Ranking

By BBN Staff: With over 2 million estimated military personnel, the United States of America ranked as having the most powerful military in the world.

Of the 137 countries assessed, the 2019 Military Strength Ranking highlighted the US first for having 13,398 aircrafts and over 2000 fighter aircrafts.

The US ranked 3rd in combat tanks with over 6000 tanks. The US defense budget is $716 billion.

Powerhouses Russia and China ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively on the list.

US media reported on the rankings and compared it to the ranking of Iran’s military which ranked 14 of the 137 countries.

The global firepower annual rankings are noteworthy especially in

YahooNews’ report that the ranking assesses the diversity of each country’s weapons and pays particular attention to their available manpower.
