Two armed men rob Popular Bakery in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night in Belize City.

Esmeralda Sanchez, 20, a cashier at the Popular Bakery reported that she was behind the cash register when 2 men entered the establishment.

One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded money. As a result, Sanchez handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are investigating.
