By BBN Staff: Only 1 day after the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister, Patrick Faber, UDP appointed Senator Stephen Duncan has tendered his resignation.

According to reports, Duncan resigned effective immediately last night.

Duncan’s resignation comes amidst turbulent times inside of the UDP. On Sunday, the party elected John Saldivar as its new leader however his name has been called in a US Court in Utah, the USA for receiving monthly payments of US $25,000 (an allegation that Mr. Saldivar has denied) from international fraudster Lev Dermen, according to Salt Lake Tribune.

Reliable reports also indicate that there will be a cabinet meeting today to discuss the allegations against new UDP leader, John Saldivar
