Patrick Faber to contest UDP Leadership Convention

By BBN Staff:  Patrick Faber has applied to contest elections for UDP leadership.

That is according to a leaked email sent from him to the UDP’s secretariat.

His email comes hours after his long time rival, John Saldivar, sent a release expressing support for Omar Figueroa as the new UDP leader.

In that release, Saldivar called on Faber to also throw his support behind Figueroa.

But according to Saldivar, if Faber refused and applied for UDP leadership, he would apply as well.

Last month Saldivar defeated Faber in a convention to select the UDP’s new leader but less than 72 hours later Saldivar resigned amidst the Lev Dermen saga.
