Tropical disturbance to bring heavy rains

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service has issued a flood watch. A tropical disturbance will support heavy rains over Central America this weekend and into next week with the possibility of flooding in some areas.

Moist and unstable weather is expected today.

The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy skies with a few showers and  isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain over most areas.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The extended forecast is for cloudy to overcast skies with some showers.
