By BBN Staff: The Government of Guatemala issued a release informing that all immigration workers at the Melchor de Mencos, Peten border are placed in mandatory quarantine after their director died.
In their statement, the government noted that the director was diabetic and was suffering from respiratory problems.
The Guatemalan government noted that as a preventative measure, all those who were working with the director are in mandatory quarantine.
The Government has requested a post mortem to be conducted.
Meanwhile, another worker had been tested positive for COVID-19.
