Weather continues fair, windy and warm

By Aaron Humes: Fair, windy and warm weather conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service.

For the next 24 hours expect sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the coast and south later tonight and isolated elsewhere.

Residents are asked to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible. A small craft caution likely goes into effect this evening for gusty winds and rough seas.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate.

Temperatures are 90 degrees along the coast, 95 inland and 84 in the hills; tonight it will be 84 along the coast, 76 inland and 70 in the hills.

Tides will be next high at 2:32 p.m. then high at 8:49 PM. The sun sets at 6:28 p.m.

Up to Tuesday, conditions remain fair, warm and dry except for slightly more showers over the south Monday night.
