Commissioner of Police: Person accused of jumping border in custody

By BBN Staff: This morning, Jairo Osorio, the chairperson of Douglas Village issued a statement expressing his frustration with the police and the Ministry of Health because he reported that a villager was spotted on the Mexican side of the border.

The same villager was later spotted riding his bike in the village without even keeping in quarantine.

The Chairperson said that it has been ongoing for 3 days and nothing was being done.

The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams informed today that the person reported to authorities is in custody and will be swabbed and placed in mandatory quarantine.
