By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health confirmed a short while ago that a patient who was being treated for a heart condition at a private facility last night passed away.

The diagnosis of COVID-19 was done post mortem.

The patient is now the 4th person in Belize to die of COVID-19 related complications.
