Julius Espat calls for audit of Belize Infrastructure Limited

By BBN Staff: During the PUP’s launch of its infrastructure, rural living, housing and transport plans, Cayo South area representative, Julius Espat said that there must be an audit of the Belize Infrastructure Limited (BIL).

“Corruption is affecting all the policies that we are proposing, it is affecting the country. To start with, we have to do an audit of the Ministry of Housing, Works, and also of the Belize Infrastructure Limited,” Espat said.

Espat shared that everyone need to understand what a new PUP Government will inherit from the outgoing administration.

“ Infrastructure has not been designed to satisfy the needs of the people that need it the most,” Espat added.

Espat said that the current administration is not prioritizing the needs of the people and invest where it is needed the most.
