37 new cases of COVID-19 detected across Belize

By BBN Staff: New cases of COVID-19 continue to be detected across Belize on a daily basis as the pandemic continues to take a toll. Today 37 new cases were detected after processing a total of 166 samples.

The new cases are distributed as follows:

Corozal – 5 (2 Town, 1 Ranchito, 1 Concepcion, 1 from OW Town)

Orange Walk – 11 (6 OW Town, 2 Guinea Grass, 1 San Jose Palmar, 1 Chan Pine Ridge, 1 San Lazaro)

Belize – 9 (6 City, 2 San Pedro, 1 from San Pedro swabbed in City)

Cayo – 11 (6 Belmopan, 2 Cotton Tree, 1 Bullet Tree, 1 Bullet Tree, 1 Esperanza)

Toledo – 1 from Independence swabbed in PG.

There were 52 recoveries today, leaving 2,164 or 43.98% of total cases active.
