Posted: Tuesday, January 5, 2021. 1:30 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) is this week sending notice to local registrars of examinations and students of their results in the July/August Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) examinations for 2020.

In a statement, the body said it “appreciates the patience and understanding of our stakeholders as we finalize grades for July/August 2020 examinations. Throughout the review process, we have endeavored to be thorough and to comply with our quality assurance processes. At this time, we have released 80% of the final results and we are working assiduously to complete the remainder.”

The Council also announced that it “is currently in dialogue with the Ministries of Education across the region to finalize details for the administration of the regional examinations in 2021. These details will be shared with our stakeholders and made public within the coming weeks.”
