Commissioner of Police Chester Williams pulled over for the alleged breach of curfew

By BBN Staff: In a leaked audio, we learnt that sometime last night the Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, was pulled over by fellow officers for the violation of the curfew regulations. ComPol Williams claims that he was making his rounds in Belize City, as he usually does to check out the city’s night scene.

Williams was reportedly in his personal vehicle, alone at the time when he was pulled over by fellow policemen making their rounds on a motorcycle. The Commissioner was then questioned and made aware that he is in violation of the curfew laws.

Chester was one of the people who heavily pushed for a curfew to be set in place countrywide. In this ironic turn of events, the Commissioner stated that he “kept his cool” and simply allowed the officer on duty to know he was checking things out then heading home.
