Belize Met Service: Cold front continues to dominate

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service( Belize Met Service) says cool and dry conditions prevail, with the forecast calling for variably cloudy, cool, and dry weather all day today and into tonight.

Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is moderate.

Most of the country will see high temperatures of 78 degrees Fahrenheit; the hills will be cooler at 68 degrees. Tonight’s low temperatures are 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 60 degrees in the interior and 55 degrees in the hills.

Tides are low at 8:08 a.m. and 9:09 p.m. and high at 2:09 p.m. The sun rose at 6:24 a.m. and will set at 5:49 p.m. this evening.

Temperatures should warm up a little as generally fair and dry conditions are expected on Thursday.
