Ministry of Health and Wellness: 13 new cases of COVID-19 identified

By Zoila Palma: Data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness indicates that for the period March 13 to 15, 2021, 698 COVID-19 tests were conducted of which 13 returned positive for the virus.

There are now 57 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Seventeen more people recovered from COVID-19 and there were no deaths associated with the virus.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues countrywide and the Ministry encourages all Belizeans to get vaccinated when the time comes.

Those who have been vaccinated are reminded to continue to adhere to precautionary measures.
