By Zoila Palma: On Wednesday, Minister of Education, Francis Fonseca met with Taiwan’s ambassador to Belize, David K.C. Chien.
“We had an opportunity to discuss our shared interests and cooperation in the areas of Education, Culture, Science and Technology,” Fonseca noted.
Fonseca expressed appreciation to Taiwan for their support to Belize and says that he look forward to strengthening and deepening the partnership.
Belize and Taiwan established bilateral relations since 1989 and continue to enjoy strong diplomatic friendship.
