Elderly mechanic shot while repairing vehicle

By Zoila Palma: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.

Just around 7:12 pm, 54 year old mechanic, James Pandy fixing the balljoint of a vehicle at the corner of Mex Avenue and East Collet Canal when a lone gunman passed and shot him.

Pandy was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) and is listed in a critical but stable condition.
