Search underway in Grace Bank for the body of Herwin Godoy

By Benjamin Flowers: Searches are currently underway at the Belize River in Grace Bank Village for the body of Herwin Godoy, who is believed to have drowned yesterday.

Godoy’s family said that he was swimming in the river and around 4:00 p.m. he went underwater and never resurfaced.

Members of the Belize Coast Guard, divers, and people in canoes are in the area conducting searches near the area where Godoy went down and the surrounding area.
