Massive lines in front of gas stations as fuel shortage continues

Posted: Tuesday, May 25, 2021. 10:25 am CST.

By Benjamin Flowers: Breaking Belize News has confirmed that various gas stations all over the country are seeing massive lines due to an ongoing fuel shortage in the country.

Many gas stations have closed since yesterday and those that remain open are seeing a major influx of customers, rapidly depleting what fuel stocks they have left.

Shortages have been confirmed in the Cayo, Belize and Corozal districts. BBN will be following up to ascertain the impact in other districts.

More as information becomes available.
