Jasmine Hartin transported to Belize City

By Benjamin Flowers: Jasmine Hartin, who is charged for the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott, has left San Pedro en route to Belize City.

Police escorted Hartin from the San Pedro Police Station and onto a waiting skiff moments ago.

She is expected to appear in the Supreme Court in Belize City this afternoon to apply for bail.

Hartin is charged with manslaughter by negligence.
