Arguments continue in Jasmine Hartin bail application

By Aaron Humes: Both sides have advanced their arguments in favor of and against the grant of bail to Jasmine Hartin, 32-year-old Canadian businesswoman charged with manslaughter by negligence of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

The case will resume at 1:30 this afternoon with the Crown’s reply to defense submissions by Senior Counsel Godfrey Smith this morning on behalf of his client, who attended by videolink from Hattieville Central Prison.

Also in attendance were members of Jemmott’s family.

We’ll have the result as soon as it happens and further analysis and commentary thereafter.
