Belize Electricity Limited announces planned power outage for Belize City on Sunday

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize Electricity Limited has announced a planned power outage scheduled to affect Belize City on Sunday, July 4.

The outage will last from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will affect areas along Philip Goldson Highway from Henderson Avenue at Mile 2.5 to Fen Lan at Mile 4.5 including Ariel Rosado Avenue, Chetumal Street from Philip Goldson Highway to Park Avenue, entire Bella Vista, Belama Phases 2, 3 and 4 and North End Estate.

BEL explained that the outage is necessary to facilitate upgrading power lines in the area.
