Digi announces disruption of services for customers in Southern Belize

By BBN Staff: Today, Digi announced that customers in southern Belize may experience issues with their service for today, July 18, 2021.

The area to be affected included Placencia, Maya Beach, Seine Bight, and Riversdale. Customers in these areas may experience degraded internet and telephone services from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“This service interruption is due to an emergency fiber maintenance being conducted in the area. Our technicians are working diligently to normalize all services,” Digi said.

The company also apologized for any inconvenience caused.
