Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics, expresses support for the Board of Directors of the Belize Port Authority

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: On Friday, July 16, 2021, Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics, met with and expressed his support to the Board of Directors of the Belize Port Authority (BPA).

A press release by the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics said Minister Ferguson and the BPA Board discussed ongoing activities and policies to chart the way forward.

“As the Minister responsible for Ports, Minister Ferguson expressed his full commitment and support to the Board as new strategies are developed for the improvement of Port facilities in Belize,” said the Ministry’s release.

“The Board, chaired by Major Lloyd Jones (Ret’d), expressed their gratitude for the Minister’s presence, contribution to the meeting, and support of the Board’s ongoing efforts,” concluded the release from the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics.
