Posted: Thursday, August 5, 2021. 1:33 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Police have identified the two men whose bodies were found in St. Margaret’s Village this morning and determined that they were victims of homicide.

Around 6:30 a.m. police visited an area in the village known as the Bird Walk where they found the bodies, later identified as 37-year-old Jose Bolon and 43-year-old David Murillo, on the side of the road with gunshot wounds.

The men, both residents of St. Magaret’s Village, reportedly left home on Wednesday, August 4 to go on a fishing expedition in the Sibun River, and never returned home.

Their bodies have been transported to the Western Regional Hospital where they await a post mortem.

Police investigations continue.
