Just over 23,000 Belizeans vaccinated on Wednesday

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported over 23,000 new vaccinations as its campaign continues across the country.

The MOHW’s latest vaccination report, issued for Wednesday, September 15, 2021, showed a total of 23,041 vaccinations.

There were 18,343 vaccinations of people 12-17 years, and 4,698 vaccinations of people 18 years and older.

The number of vaccinated people (received one vaccine dose) has gone up to 178,998, and the number of those fully vaccinated (received two vaccine doses) went up to 86,430.

The Ministry’s data includes the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines.
