Belize Coast Guard rescues five Honduran fishermen adrift at sea

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Coast Guard (BCG) said its Search and Rescue Team stationed at Hunting Caye rescued five Honduran fishermen though it did not specify when.

The Honduran fishermen had been adrift at sea for three days.

“Working with the Honduran Consulate in Belize we are able to safely repatriate the fishermen to Honduras,” said the Belize Coast Guard on a social media post.
