Canadian organization donates to Caye Caulker Medical Clinic

By Aaron Humes: The Maber Foundation of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, has made its latest donation to the Caye Caulker Medical Clinic.

Belize businessman and philanthropist Blaine Maber presented over 150 items to the Caye Caulker Public Clinic, including emergency surgical instruments and pharmaceuticals.

This is the fourth such donation, previously including other medicine and defibrillation supplies.

The foundation also supports other programs in Belize such as public libraries and literacy programs. The Foundation has been helping with literacy programs and medical aid in the developing world since 2001.
