Police still investigating death of Abrie Tuyul in San Pedro

By Aaron Humes: 20-year-old Abrie Tuyul of San Pedro Town was confirmed to have died by manual asphyxiation as a result of hanging.

But the proximate cause of the eight-month pregnant woman’s death has yet to be determined – was it suicide or homicide?

Commissioner of Police Chester Williams said police continue their investigation but have ruled neither out.

The husband of the deceased was initially held but so far has not been held to be a person of interest in the case.
