By Aaron Humes: Belize City and Dangriga continue to be centers of concern for COVID-19 according to the daily figures sorted by reporting center of the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
The Old Capital saw 30 of 38 new cases. Three more were in Ladyville and one each in Gales Point, Hattieville, Lords’ Bank, Saint Paul’s Bank, and Western Paradise.
The Culture Capital added 16 new cases of 33 in the Stann Creek District.
Apart from Orange Walk Town with 11 new cases, no other municipality reported more than 10. San Pedro Town added six new cases, Corozal Town three, Belmopan six (including one in Salvapan), Benque Viejo three, San Ignacio and Santa Elena four each, and Punta Gorda, one. In fact, there were seven total new cases in Toledo District, 27 in Cayo, and 39 between the northern districts.
