New COVID-19 cases increase slightly but another fall in active cases recorded

By Aaron Humes: The lone COVID-19 casualty of the last 24 hours is a female from San Pedro Town.
She was fully vaccinated, one of 37 deaths reported among fully vaccinated persons since October.
A total of 172 individuals have died from complications due to COVID-19 since October 1st. Apart from the 37 who were fully vaccinated, 20 were partially vaccinated and 115 were not vaccinated.
Belize is now up to eight deaths for the month of December and 586 overall since the pandemic began.
