Belize posts second straight day with more new cases of COVID-19 than recoveries

By Aaron Humes: 57 new cases of COVID-19 were reported today – eight fewer than yesterday, but outpacing the 38 new recoveries reported by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
This means the number of active cases roses by 19 to 443. Separately 217 samples are under investigation.
Also, one new death was reported, moving total deaths to 592.
However, the number of hospitalizations from COVID and persons in the intensive care unit remains steady.
