Belize Weather: Fair weather as temperatures warm up

The National Meteorological Service says an easterly airflow will help gradually warm temperatures up.

The forecast is for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be brief and isolated.

High temperatures today are 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 82 degrees inland and 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is slight to light chop.

Tides are high at 11:34 this morning and 10:54 this evening and low at 4:42 this afternoon. The sun sets at 20 minutes to six this evening and rises at 6:26 Thursday morning.

Expect some showers during the daytime on Thursday before increasing at night especially along the coast.
