Camalote man knocked off his bicycle in hit and run; dies on the scene

By BBN Staff: A 58-year-old man died in Camalote Village following a hit and run on the George Price Highway yesterday.

Francisco Trapp, a resident of the Good Living Ranch area, was reportedly riding his bicycle between Miles 51-52 when he was hit from behind by a vehicle, which then sped off in the direction of Roaring Creek.

Trapp received severe head and body injuries which killed him on the spot.

Authorities have not managed to get a description of the vehicle.

The matter is under investigation by the police.
