Orange Walk Football Association opens registration for new clubs

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Orange Walk Football Association is now accepting applications for registration of new clubs, said OWFA Administrator Ben Ramos Jr.

Just last weekend, Caribbean Rum Boyz won the 1st Division Championship 3-2 over Guinea Grass FC.

Ramos said teams interested in joining the OWFA for the Closing Tournament may contact him at 661-0132, Elmer Pott at 665-1931, or the OWFA Office at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk Town.

The registration deadline is February 18, but teams need to get in touch with the OWFA right away because there are a couple of conditions, like team registration with the National Registry in Belmopan, they need to fulfill that and it cannot be done in one day.
