Tourism Minister meets with Taiwanese Ambassador to Belize

By Aaron Humes: Belize doesn’t get that many visitors from the Republic of China (Taiwan) due to being almost a day apart.

However, both countries are hoping to change that following a meeting between Taiwanese ambassador to Belize David Kuan-Chou Chien; Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations Anthony Mahler; his CEO Nicole Solano and Director of the Belize Tourism Board Evan Tillett.

According to the Taiwanese Embassy’s social media post, “Both sides look forward to working closely together to deepen the bilateral #tourism exchange between Taiwan and Belize.”
