By BBN Staff: Earlier today a cargo truck was robbed in St. Matthew’s Village, Cayo District.

Three armed men approached the driver and passenger of the cargo truck and made them lay down on the side of the road while they stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbers then ran off and jumped into a waiting SUV.

Police reportedly have since detained two suspects in connection with the incident.

This is a developing story.
