By Benjamin Flowers: There were several motorcycle accidents this weekend that have left three people dead and two critically injured.
On Saturday night, 17-year-old Gales Point Manatee resident Jashua Samuels lost control of his motorcycle while riding in the cemetery area of the village and crashed into a lamppost. Samuels sustained severe body injuries and died while receiving medical treatment.
On Sunday morning a motorcycle exploded between miles 41 and 42 on the George Price Highway. The passenger, 41-year-old Kadeem Banks died instantly. The driver, 48-year-old Edison “Vintage” Usher, died while receiving medical treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
And on Sunday night there was also a traffic accident on the Cristo Rey-San Antonio Road in the Cayo District. The victims, a man, and a woman received serious injuries and were admitted to hospital in critical condition.
