Orange Walk man dies one day after motorcycle accident

By Benjamin Flowers: Twenty-year-old Orange Walk resident Charles Calderon, who was in a road traffic accident on Wednesday, died of his injuries yesterday.

Police say that he was riding his motorcycle on Benque Viejo Street in Orange Walk Town when a pickup truck being driven by Ann Marie Burns collided into him.

He was severely injured and taken to the Northern Regional Hospital and later transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment, however, he died of his injuries on Thursday, around 5:40 p.m.

Police are investigating.
