United States Chargé d’Affaires Leyla Moses-Ones visits Belmopan Mayor Sheran Palacio at Belmopan City Council

United States Chargé d’Affaires Leyla Moses-Ones visited Belmopan Mayor Sheran Palacio at the Belmopan City Council on Wednesday.

“This initial encounter involved discussions on future projects and collaborations in support of community development and women empowerment,” said the Belmopan City Council.

Mayor Palacio said she was honoured by the visit.

“I must say that I felt honoured to have a visit at such a high level and the initial contact was well received,” Mayor Palacio told Breaking Belize News.

“We sat down and spoke about everything and definitely I’ll be looking forward to nurturing this relationship and looking at future projects, I’m sure that there’s something we’ll be able to do together.”

Mayor Palacio said the door is open at the Belmopan City Council for the US Chargé d’Affaires.

The Belmopan City Council thanked the Chargé d’Affaires Moses-Ones for the visit.

“We continue our work of establishing such linkages for the benefit of our community,” said the Belmopan City Council.
