By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The campaign to vaccinate 73,000 children ages 5-11 countrywide against COVID-19 was just rolled out this week and is already well underway, says the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry is documenting the campaign on its social media accounts.

“Today we captured a few children getting vaccinated at the Our Lady of Guadalupe primary school in Belmopan,” said the MOHW.

“We encourage parents to be informed and get their child vaccinated from COVID19 as soon as you are able to,” said the Ministry of Health.

The MOHW said that they will be visiting schools throughout the country to reach their objective of getting all the children vaccinated. Vaccines for that age bracket are also available at the usual vaccinating sites as well.
