St Martin Credit Union invites bids for provisioning of Security Services and Cash Transportation Services

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: St Martin Credit Union is looking for companies to provide the credit union with security services and cash transportation services and to that end is inviting bids.

SMCU requires the security services company to provide armed security officers, to inspect and patrol premises regularly, to monitor property in person and remotely, to report suspicious activities or persons, and to assist in directing members who visit their offices.

The cash transportation service company selected will be expected to provide armored courier service to transport cash from premises to the bank and between premises.

These services will be carried out in San Ignacio and Benque Viejo del Carmen Town in the Cayo District where SMCU is located.

SMCU said that qualified companies will be required to submit their proposal, company profile, current trade license, Police Department special license, certification of guards’ firearms handling training, plus three letters of reference from customers.

SMCU said it reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The credit union also reserves the right to rescind the process at any time without incurring any liability to the affected parties and is not obligated to provide any reason for rejection or non-acceptance of any or all bids.
