Verdes advise fans to avoid ticket racket

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Verdes took to social media to advise fans of a ticket racket regarding the Concacaf League match against Alianza of El Salvador. Verdes said someone is attempting to undersell the club by selling fraudulent tickets online.

“IMPORTANT URGENT NOTIFICATION! It has been brought to our attention that tickets for the CONCACAF match Verdes vs Alianza is being sold online for $20.00,” said the Verdes announcement.

“KINDLY BE INFORMED THAT TICKETS PRE-SOLD ARE $25.00 AND THE ONLY TICKET OUTLETS ARE : Chippy and Kevin Castellanos in Benque; Ms. Yoli in San Ignacio; PLB Office located at FFB Stadium and at the BDFA Office located at Marion Jones Stadium in Belize City. NO TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD ONLINE. NOTE THAT OFFICIAL TICKETS ARE STAMPED, initialed and bar coded.”

Verdes are playing Salvadoran National Champions Alianza at 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.
