Jamaican artiste Masicka in Belize

By Aaron Humes: He may not have picked the best day to touch down, but popular Jamaican artiste Masicka is confirmed to be here in Belize.

Masicka’s songs and projects include “Dem Ago Dead” and The Tyler and Puffy Saga Part 1 & 2. He has earned a substantial social media following, clocking in at more than 750,000 followers on his Instagram alone.

The native of Portmore, Jamaica (alias “Sin City”), is being hailed as the next rising star in dancehall, and is already being compared with fellow Portmore legend Vybz Kartel (both are graduates of Calabar High School) for his lyricism. He has released several hit singles, been featured in music programming in the United States and United Kingdom, and is preparing for his first music video.
