Belize Ambassador to Taiwan Dr Candice Pitts conducts three-day business visit to cities in south Taiwan

Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan Dr Candice Pitts this week joined members of the Central America Trade Office (CATO) in Taiwan on a three-day business visit for the Central American Diplomatic Corps in south Taiwan.

Dr Pitts and the CATO delegation visited municipalities, such as Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Taichung City, Yunlin County, and Miaoli County exploring opportunities that can advance the commercial relationship between Belize and Taiwan.

During the three-day visit, the delegation visited with Mayor Cheng Wen-Tsan at the Taoyuan City Council. Taoyuan is the fourth largest metropolitan area of Taiwan.

The visit also included stops at YEN & Brothers Enterprise Co., Ltd.; Far Eastern New Century Corporation; Business operations of SF-ebus; Tangeng Advanced Vehicle Co. (TAV), Ltd.; Tunghai University; King Bou Industry Co., Ltd.; Donjo Biotech Co., Ltd.; Protrade Applied Material Corporation, and e-Formula Technologies Inc.
