Premier League of Belize postpones Benque Viejo United vs Progresso

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize (PLB) has postponed the Week 11 match between Benque Viejo United and Progresso.

“Due to bad weather conditions and expected more rain later today the game between Benque FC (Police United) Vs Progresso FC has been postponed,” said the PLB in a social media post.

The match was scheduled to play on Saturday night at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo Viejo del Carmen.

At present, Progresso is sitting in fifth place with 12 points in the PLB’s Opening Championship while Benque Viejo United is right behind in sixth with 11 points.

As the weather situation is presently uncertain, the PLB has not said when the game will play though normally it would be postponed to midweek.
