Man, 64, accused of raping 12-year-old relative

By Aaron Humes: Police are reportedly seeking a 64-year-old construction worker of Roaring Creek Village for the alleged rape of his step-granddaughter.

Information to Breaking Belize News is that police responded to information about an adult male alone in a room with a female child. They found the girl crying on the floor.

A subsequent medical examination is said to have confirmed that she had had carnal knowledge with the accused, her step-grandfather, now being sought by police. The Ministry of Human Development has also been made aware of the report.

Police investigations into the matter continue.
