Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan participates in National Yunlin University of Science and Technology’s forum

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice August Pitts participated at the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) international forum on the Sustainable Development Goal’s (SDG) practical experience.

According to the university, YunTech has received nationwide accolades based on its educational initiatives geared towards the United Nation’s SDGs.

Ambassador Pitts presented on Belize’s marine and environmental conservation efforts inherent in Belize’s Blue Bond as well as Belize’s efforts towards fighting climate change.

The Embassy of Belize in Taiwan noted that presentations led to a fruitful conversation regarding countries’ approach to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
